On the Identicryption website players discover a link to Powers Patios. They discover a form on this website which they use to email Powers Patios to get information about Identicryption.
New pages posted on Alices Evidence show a scanned in image of a book that mention Alice possessing a symmetric key. The
theyeti emails
Alice asking her about this key. They get a response they don't understand.
theyeti and
jelloarm contact Powers Patios who provides a glowing reference of Identicryption and contact detail for
Sean Browne.
Alice posts another riddle.
The players work out that the riddle should give them a 4 letter and 5 letter word that will be the password for
Bruce's (Robert Dunne) emails but have trouble getting further with it.
They email
Sean attempting to find more information on
Bruce,
David and the problems with the Identicryption website and recieve these responses.
B Quad also recieves a reply from
Jen which clarifies a number of issues:
David and
Karen have gone missing and
Jen suspects that she's next on the list. The link between the three of them is Identicryption.
Max thinks Identicryption is part of a larger organisation and is trying to track down
Karen.
She suggests that they try contacting
Max as he seems to know more than she does.
Another riddle is emailed to
theyeti by Alice. From this riddle
MrToasty work out that they are supposed to turn the 'symmetric key' upside down and it reads: lookalive. When they use this password in combination with the
Bruce's username they can access his email. They have problems determining the format of his username and password but as Pg 12 is added to Alices Evidence the password provided there for
Karen hints at the structure that should be used.
jelloarm works out the passwords and they gain access to
Bruce's email.
It is here that we first encounter the Character of
George. He has been e-mailing
Bruce regarding some used Cars that
Bruce wants to find and get rid of. Players quickly put together that junking cars is code for killing people.
Within the emails
scottybrobro also finds a link to the website Dog Eared Dreams. They see that it has a members area that they cannot access. It also has a membership request form. A number of players request membership.
They recieve membership acceptance to Dog Eared Dreams and are sent a Username and Password.
The search function on the site now works for them although they do not have much luck to begin with.
theyeti emails
Leah Marks -
Bruce's PA and ask for a meeting with
David and
Bruce. She informs them that
David is on 'extended leave' from the company.
jelloarm emails George's Yard inquiring about aquisition of a car. The replies received are clearly hinting at a service for disposing of people but
George requires collateral in the form of a face-to-face meeting before taking a contract.
Meanwhile
Mike on Aftermath08 is feeding extra information:
David told
Karen about some thing going on at Identicryption; Something about '
Sarah', '
Gerard' and a secret project. Georges Yard has definately something to do with it.
scottybrobro makes the connection between
Gerard and the list of names for staff party on page 22
theyeti sends
Max an email and receive a reply. He seems pretty annoyed and suspicious of them. He doesn't know who
Alice but is interested in finding out.
Glyni works out that the make and model of the cars serves as a username for Georges Yard Login it asks you for a password.
jelloarm also makes the connection between the car names and the emails in
Bruces inbox.
They email
Deirdre at Dog Eared Dreams and she hints that The Brothers Grimm Fairytales might be an appropriate search term.
Jain search Rumpelstiltskin - Grimm Brothers and retrieve image 2 of 8
Two new pages up at Alices Evidence, [pg 34] [pg 36] with details about a
Paul O'Donoghue.
Another riddle from
Alice.
From this riddle they work out the
Karen is in Dundalk, somewhere near a train tracks - probably near Stapleton Place or Georges Quay. They email
Max with this information.
New pages up on Alices Evidence [pg 37] [pg 38] which provide more information on
Paul.
Meanwhile
ineffabelle emails
George pretending to be
Bruce. Although she does not receive a response directly they notice that another email from
George is now in
Bruce's inbox asking him about the email.
Another email from
Ryan Marcartal is also in the inbox instructing
Bruce to wrap up operations in Dundalk ASAP.
Further correspondence from
Max also indicates that players should contact
Paul as he is a key character.
A new post appears on Aftermath from
Palamedes.
Glyni translates the code. They notice that Palamedes also posted a number of maps[1] [2] [3] [4] [5]. Players are confused.
Jain emails
Palamedes and gets a cryptic response. They work out that they might have to ask for Alice in one of the locations but never follow through.
theyeti receives a new message from
Max telling them that he is going to look for
Karen around the railway tracks in Dundalk and that
Paul is very important.
Glyni also receives an email from
Leah Marks at Identicryption telling them that the company is shutting down.
